WIFI ISSUES
Please review your "Arrival Information" notice for the current wifi network and password. You will have received a notification entitled "ARRIVAL INFORMATION", sent on the day of your arrival. Verify that you have the correct network name and password.
I see the correct network name in my "available networks." I have located the password in my "ARRIVAL INFORMATION" notice. I have attempted to joint the correct network using the password provided, but I get the reponse that either:
"Connected To Network, No Internet Connection" (or)
"Cannot Connect To Network"
Both of these messages suggest that there is a problem with the router.
Solution:
Locate the Router, and reboot it. (If you don't know what the router looks like, please see the following: Finding Your Router ). Once found, re-boot it (unplug the power from the router, wait 1 minute, plug the power back in and allow 10 minutes for the router to re-boot properly.
When your router comes back online (allow 10 minutes for reboot), then reconnect.
If you still receive the message "Cannot Connect To Network", please proceed to next step: Default Test.
If you have rebooted your router and your router seems to have rebooted, yet you still cannot see the network name provided, please go to the router again and do the following:
Please look on the back or the side of the router. There will be a couple of stickers. The sticker we are looking for will have the words "SSID" followed by a network password or passkey/. This is the default, factory setting Network / password combo. This will guaranteed work, it is just longer and more cumbersome to enter into a keypad. But this will 100% work, unless the modem is actually physically damaged.
If you still do not find joy, please call us immediately - we will call the cable company, since the problem is beyond the limits of our intervention. Note that this is Florida, and with hurricanes, electrical storms and other acts of God (AOG) which from time to time may disrupt service. We are not responsible for these so called Acts of God, and do not offer refunds based on disruption of service due to AOG.
